The Commissioner and Chief Constable are satisfied that the spend on contracts represents Value for Money because:

• For orders below £6,000, contract regulations require that good procurement processes are followed to ensure that the Constabulary and OPCC obtain good value for money;
• For orders over £6,000 and below £60,000 contract regulations require three written quotations and use of local suppliers must be considered;
• For orders over £60,000, the 7 Force Commercial Department must manage the procurement process in line with all relevant legislation and guidance.
