The Cambridgeshire Criminal Justice Board brings criminal justice organisations together at police force area level to support joint working and improve the overall function of the local criminal justice system.
Membership of the Board includes senior representatives from Cambridgeshire Constabulary, the Courts, the Crown Prosecution Service, Health, Prison, Probation, and Youth Justice Services.
In convening criminal justice partners, the Board is able to identify priorities and address cross-cutting issues, reduce reoffending, and improve the experiences of victims and witnesses, while delivering agreed objectives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the local criminal justice system.
The Police and Crime Commissioner is the Chair of the Cambridgeshire Criminal Justice Board, which meets on a quarterly basis.
