Statement from Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston: 

At this point my thoughts are very much with the victims and witnesses of this horrific incident.

British Transport Police are leading on this investigation with support from Cambridgeshire Constabulary, and I am in regular contact with my Chief Constable. 

I would like to thank all of the emergency services for their swift response to this.
