The Police and Crime Commissioner’s ‘Road Safety Fund – Small Grants’ was launched in September 2025, it is funded through the Casualty Reduction and Support reserve. The fund delivers against a priority set out in the Tackling Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour pillar of the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan 2025-2028.
Statutory organisations, such as the Police, Fire and Rescue Service and Local Authorities, who are involved in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Vision Zero Partnership are able to bid for up to £3,500 for preventative local initiatives that help respond to local issues of road safety and support the Vision Zero Partnership to reduce serious injuries and deaths on our roads.
