The Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence Support Services – Small Grants Fund, created by Police and Crime Commissioner Darryl Preston, opened on Friday 10th October. The Fund was set up to support the Commissioner’s Police and Crime Plan pledge of Supporting Victims and Witnesses to ‘ensure victims can access support services which offer a bespoke response to individual needs’
The fund enables non-statutory domestic abuse and sexual violence organisations with a base in the county to bid for up to £5,000 to provide services to victims and survivors that improve community engagement and ensure that victims can access support bespoke to their needs.
Applicants must already be in receipt of funding from the OPCC or other statutory organisation, or have been in the last year and be providing services to victims of domestic abuse and sexual violence who live in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
