Salary: £26,394 to £30,939 (to be confirmed following full job evaluation)

The OPCC is looking for a committed individual to join their busy team in the role of Volunteer Co-ordinator, based in Cambourne. This role is to establish and embed a police cadets scheme for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough on behalf of the Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner; to manage the day to day business to support an effective Independent Custody Visiting Scheme operated through two Local ICV Panels and comprising up to 24 volunteers from the public. We are therefore seeking an individual who will be equally proficient in using a range of organisational, planning, project management and people skills, with experience of working with young people or volunteers.
There will be a requirement for the successful applicant to work flexibly, travelling to various locations within Cambridgeshire and Peterborough requiring some evening/ weekend work.
