Do you think you have what it takes to help improve local accountability of the police to the public? Would you like to contribute to achieving the Police and Crime Commissioner’s objectives and pledges? Can you work pro-actively and reactively to meet changing demands of a busy yet interesting role? If so, the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is looking for a new member of its team to provide support to the Policy and Performance Team.
The successful candidate should ideally have experience in a policy, analytical or democratic services support role. Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills are essential along with experience in managing a reactive and often high workload. Experience of supporting and managing casework is required, as is the ability to analyse information and data to turn this into meaningful reports, briefings and correspondence. Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and work to numerous deadlines are essential to meet the needs of the busy yet supportive team.
The post holder will require a full current driving licence. This position is to be based within the OPCC office at Cambourne.
