The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner is seeking to appoint a well-qualified, experienced, confident and dynamic individual to lead these two linked areas of activity: Communication and Public Engagement.
We are looking for someone who shares our values and our passion for continual improvement, and who understands the public sector. We need someone who can think and act strategically as well as lead effectively. The successful candidate will enjoy being busy, will be a strong and natural leader, will work in an inspirational environment and have a good sense of humour. • You will be a member of the CIPR, CIMS or other recognised professional body with evidence of continuing professional development;
• Senior level experience, heading a communications function, although not necessarily in the public sector;
• You will have experience of the management of PR issues in a large organisation.
