Cambridgeshire Constabulary is looking for a new Chief Constable who can provide inspirational and innovative leadership to staff and officers across the organisation.

Public confidence in the integrity of UK policing is low with communities losing trust as a result of some recent and high-profile cases. It will be your responsibility as Chief Constable to ensure Cambridgeshire’s officers and staff adopt the highest ethical standards.

A significant part of the role will be an ability to ensure/deliver successful collaborative working with the Police and Crime Commissioner and other external partners, so strong communication skills and media experience are essential.

As Chief Constable you will set the strategic vision for the Constabulary based on a strong analytical understanding of performance data.

All this is needed to ensure the Constabulary is a force that is trusted – one that we can all be proud of.
