Police Commissioner and Chief seek exceptional volunteer to join Joint Audit Committee

THE Acting Police and Crime Commissioner and Chief Constable are seeking an individual with the highest level of integrity and accountability to become a member of the Joint Audit Committee as an Independent Member.

The Joint Audit Committee is an important, independent means of enhancing public trust and confidence in the governance of the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner and Cambridgeshire Constabulary.

It provides independent assurance about the adequacy of the Chief Constables and Police and Crime Commissioner’s financial management and financial reporting issues within Cambridgeshire and provides a forum for discussion with our internal and external auditors.

Ultimately, the Committee is a key element in enhancing public trust and confidence in policing services in Cambridgeshire.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is Wednesday 24 February 2021.
