Opportunity for audit experts

Police and Crime Commissioner, Jason Ablewhite and Chief Constable, Alec Wood are recruiting two new volunteers for the Joint Audit Committee.
The Joint Audit Committee oversees the audit arrangements of both the Police and Crime Commissioner and Cambridgeshire Constabulary, ensuring that adequate plans are in place for how each organisation is governed and risk managed.
Two roles are open for applications: a Chair and a new Member.
The Chair is responsible for providing leadership to the Joint Audit Committee and the Member’s role is to work with others to carry out the responsibilities of the group.
The estimated time requirement is six days per year. An allowance is paid as well as expenses.
The closing date for applications is Friday 5th May 2017.
