To sign the Modern Slavery Police Transformation Fund Section 22A Agreement under the Police Act 1996 (as amended).
Decision Summary
The Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Business Co-ordination Board, meeting of the 12th April 2018 discussed and agreed to the proposal to enable the Police Service and other law enforcement agencies to develop an improved response to Modern Slavery with the provision of coordinated and specialist advice and support to police forces creating greater consistency nationally.
The Board approved that the Police and Crime Commissioner and the Constabulary should sign the updated Section 22A Agreement to effect the collaborative arrangements for the purpose of providing efficient and effective policing.
