Removal from the capital funding budget for the purchasing of dog kennel units
October 28th, 2015
To approve the removal of the commitment from the Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s capital funding budget for the contribution towards the funding of the dog kennel units
The Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s (“the Commissioner”) Business Coordination Board (BCB) meeting on the 13th November 2014 agreed the proposal to via £226,000 of revenue underspend from the 2014/15 capital programme to fund the purchase of dog kennelling units and development of the Alconbury site for use of these units.
The Commissioner considered the proposal and signed a Decision Notice (CPCC 2014-033) dated 21st November 2014 for virement of the funding.
At the Commissioner’s Finance Sub Group meeting on the 27th August 2015 the decision was taken not to proceed with this work following issues with plans for waste management at the site. Therefore deletion of this scheme from the capital programme is necessary.
