To opt into the PSAA Framework for appointing External Auditors for the Statutory Accounts.
Decision Summary
The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Police and Crime Commissioner’s (PCC) Business Coordination Board (BCB) meeting on 16th December 2021 considered and approved the proposal to opt into the Public Service Audit Appointments (PSAA) framework which will allow PSAA to select and appoint an external auditor from 2023.
This is the second procurement exercise undertaken by PSAA. The next appointing period is 2023/24 to 2027/28.
By opting into this framework, we will be taking the same course as our collaborative partners of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service.
