To continue funding the Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Youth Fund, managed by Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, to fund charitable projects which engage young people in positive activities.
Decision Summary
The Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Youth Fund was created in line his pledge to support work with young people to divert them away from a life of crime. It is also aligned to the Police and Crime Plan Objective to continue to tackle crime and disorder.
The fund will contain £40,000 raised through the sale of unclaimed and recovered stolen property in accordance with the Police Property Act 1997.
Cambridgeshire Community Foundation will manage the fund and assess potential applicants.
