Decision Summary

The Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Business Coordination Board meeting on the 25th February 2016 discussed and agreed the exclusivity agreement to run up to the 12th September 2016. The objective of the Agreement is to provide a secure period to agree heads of terms and exchange contracts with Hinchingbrooke Health Care NHS Trust (HHCT) for the lease or purchase of the surplus land at Cambridgeshire Constabulary Headquarters, Hinchingbrooke Park, Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire PE29 6NP

During the exclusivity period the Police and Crime Commissioner Police undertake:

  • to act in good faith and to co-operate with the HHCT in seeking to agree heads of terms for the Transaction;
  • to use reasonable endeavours to answer promptly all reasonable enquiries relating to the Property or the Transaction;
  • subject to the heads of terms for the Transaction being agreed promptly thereafter to supply the all documentation and information relating to the Transaction;

not to market or solicit interest in any transaction relating to the Property and not to send, instruct or allow anyone else to send any title information or draft contracts to anyone other than the Buyer’s Solicitors.
