ERSOU Estate Sec 22A

Decision

To sign the Sec 22A under the Police Act 1996 (as amended) to authorise the constabulary’s contribution towards the purchase of property for the ERSOU Estate and sign the Declaration of Trust. The Property is being purchased between Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk and Suffolk constabulary’s.

Decision Summary

The Police and Crime Commissioner’s Business Co-ordination Board (“the Board”) meeting of the 8th January and the 25th February discussed the proposal for the Cambridge constabulary financial contribution to ERSOU for the joint purchase of operational property with the 7 force collaboration, subject to a satisfactory S22 Agreement drafted by Bedfordshire Police on behalf of the 7 force.

The Board agreed that the Commissioner should sign the Sec 22A agreement and the Declaration of Trust confirming that all partners have a have a beneficial interest in the Property, the percentage of their beneficial share being the percentage of the original sum they contributed towards the Property.
