Delegation of an element of the Casualty Reduction and Support Fund to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership

Decision
To delegate £100k from the Casualty Reduction and Support Fund (“the Fund”) to the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership (“the Partnership”) to manage and allocate in line with the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Road Safety Partnership Strategic Declaration.
Decision Summary
The Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Commissioner’s Business Coordination Board (“the Board”) at their meeting on the 27th August 2015 discussed the creation of the Fund. The Fund was created from Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s (“the Constabulary”) underspend from the collaborated Bedfordshire Police, the Constabulary, and Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Camera, Ticket and Collision underspend from 2014/15 (Decision Notice CPCC 2015-025).
At their meeting on the 26th November 2015 the Board considered the operational arrangements for the Fund and agreed that a proportion of the Fund be delegated to the Partnership to manage from 2016/17.
The Board considered the first tranche of allocations from the Fund at their meeting on the 16th December 2015 and these were approved (Decision Notice CPCC 2015 045).
