Contract extension for the Provision of Forensics Services

Decision
Following updates from the National Police Chiefs Council and the 7 Forces Strategic Governance Board meeting in September 2019 it was recommended that the Chief Constables and Police and Crime Commissioners agree to extend the contract for Forensic Science services for a period of 18 months from July 2020.
The Acting Police and Crime Commissioner was briefed accordingly and agreed to the recommendation made by the 7 Forces Strategic Governance Board to agree to extend the Forensic Services contract.
