A contract for an archaeological investigation for land at Milton has been drawn up by 7Force Commercial Services following a competitive tender process.
The planning permission for the site granted on 26 March 2021 imposed a condition that a scheme of archaeological investigation work was required on the site and following preliminary investigations a further requirement was imposed to conduct a full site wide investigation.
It is proposed to award the tender to Archaeological Research Services Ltd following evaluation of bids, this bid scored highest on a combination of quality and price and fully demonstrated the ability to deliver the contract within a timely period. Contract value is £874,813.63.
