Decision

To approve the Annual Report for 2020/21

Decision Summary

Under Section 12 of the Police and Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 (the “Act”) a Police and Crime Commissioner (the “Commissioner”) must:

  • produce an Annual Report on the exercise of the organisation’s functions in the financial year and the progress in meeting the police and crime objectives in the Police and Crime Plan (the “Plan”);
  • send the report to the Police and Crime Panel (the “Panel”);
  • present the report to the Panel and answer the Panel’s questions;
  • give the Panel a response to any report or recommendation on the Annual Report; and
  • publish any response.

This Annual Report reflects the previous Acting Commissioner’s work for the period between 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 and provides an opportunity to review the work carried out over the last year to deliver the priorities as set out in the Plan.

The Commissioner presented the draft Annual Report to the Panel on the 21st July 2021, which they then reviewed and then agreed to note.  Agenda for Cambridgeshire Police and Crime Panel on Wednesday 21st July, 2021, 2.30 pm | Peterborough City Council
