Cambridgeshire’s Police and Crime Commissioner has responded to public outrage regarding the handling of a report relating to the Representation of the People Act.
Concerns were raised following a report in a national newspaper regarding police handling of the incident.
Sir Graham Bright said: “I identify with the public outrage regarding the handling of this issue. Having spoken with the Chief Constable, I have been assured that he understands these concerns and will look at how to improve the Constabulary’s response to reports relating to this Act in the future.”
