John Peach officially took post as Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for Cambridgeshire and Peterborough on Monday 15th November 2021 He began a successful career in publishing at the Peterborough Telegraph which led to roles at national newspapers and magazines. John then established his own property development and management business, which still operates today.
Much of John’s life has been dedicated to public service, representing his community as a Councillor for more than 30 years at Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council. During that time, he has served as Leader of Peterborough City Council and Mayor of the City. In addition, he has served, and continues to serve, on various local and community groups, and is a School Governor.
John has adopted the Code of Ethics for policing to demonstrate his commitment to people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough that he will carry out his role in accordance with the principles and standards of professional behaviour expected of all those within policing.
