Staff salaries

The Commissioner’s salary is set by the Home Office and is £70,000 per annum. The Deputy Commissioner’s salary has been fixed by the Commissioner at £28,000 per annum.

The salaries and payments made to Cambridgeshire Constabulary’s senior staff are published in the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Statement of Accounts 2015/16 (page 68) which can be found here.

Senior employees, whose salary is in excess of £58,200 per annum, are:

  • Chief Executive (£90,193.56 – 0.9 fte)
  • Chief Finance Officer/Deputy Chief Executive (£84,526.00)
  • Director of Public Engagement and Communications ( £75,978.00)

  • Strategic Accountant – SO1 (£27,519 – £31,938)
  • Business Manager – Scale 6 (£24,813 – £26,535)
  • Engagement Officer – Scale 5 (£21,999 – £24,030)
  • Partnerships and Communities Officer – SO1 (£27,519 – £31,938)
  • Senior Admin Support Officer – Scale 4 (£19,521 – £21,618)
  • Admin Support Officer – Scale 3 (£17,943 – £19,122)
